What is Dying?
A Ship sails and I stand watching till he fades on the horizon, and someone at my side says 'he is gone'
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all, he is just as when i saw him,
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in him, and just at that moment when someone at my side says 'he is gone' there are others who are watching him coming, and their voices take up a glad shout 'here he comes' and that is dying!
Phil Rest in Peace, you were a credit to your teams, your family and your friends.

God must have needed a legend
I was very lucky phil i got to meet you in person a few times,waiting outside celtic park for hours just to get some photos took my son up when he was little and you were great with him nothing was ever any trouble for you,you were a true gent and always took the time to talk and pose for loads of photos and not once did you complain. My heartfelt thoughts go out to all youre family and friends hope you are doing what you did best up there playing football withthe rest of the legends. hail hail x x
